Car Insurance GMC (Car Insurance). 1999 Toyota Camry doesn't blow hot air for heat unless car is moving. Even at stop sign the air will go cold.?1999 Toyota Camry doesn't blow hot air for heat unless car is moving. Even at stop sign the air will go cold.? Have replaced heater core, thermostat, timing belt, water pump, and none of these has fixed the problem. Now is making a noise in dash that sounds like rocks in water going side to side inside motor. Doesn't do this all the time, so when I did take it in to get looked at, they did not hear it, and so...Any help out there? Either you have an air pocket in the cooling system or it low on coolant but don't buy a hotter thermostat, that will only worsen the problem. well if this car has or use to set out sumtimes rat nest or sumthing like to build them inside there. they find ways... so i suggest you to pull the blower motor off. should be on fire wall under hood. pull it off see what is on fan itself then look thru its passage way. basicly put a glove on reach ur hand in cause ive had to do this before. sumtimes u will get a good size nest or sumthing that was blocking it. which is why it wouldnt hardly blow heat.... if its not putting any heat out u can buy a hotter thermostat that will let ur car get lil warmer before opening to cool it. thats what its designed to do.. to keep ur car within certain temperatures. wait wait FORGET WHAT I JUST SAID. you say that it blows cold air though? is blowing out hard? u might just need a hotter thermostat. back in older trucks we would put part of card board infront of radiator altho u dont want it to over heat..... thats why hotter thermostat is best. engine temp matters in the heater alot. u could still check the blower tho since u hear rocks and water... Your having a problem with a stripped actuator, most likely. The HVAC unit is going to be the problem. Sounds like a problem with the fresh air door maybe and your blower perhaps. Hard to tell the way it is worded. Auto parts : Roll Bar Padding Acura 1995 . Roll Bar Storage Alfa Romeo 1996 . Roof Rack Audi 1997 . Running Board Gap Strip BMW 1998 . My ex-boyfriend heard I was getting a motorbike for my 18th birthday present, a really good bike as I'm paying for some of it, so he got cocky & went & bought a brand new 125cc crap bike, just because I'm getting one. GMC . How to Replace a Clutch in a MustangReplacing the clutch in a Mustang takes about three hours to accomplish. Your Mustang's clutch should be replaced every 75,000 miles, or sooner if it shows more wear or fails. A new clutch will cost around $100 to $200, depending upon which branch you purchase. Difficulty:Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Clutch alignment tool Screwdriver Metric wrench set Jack Clutch disk Pressure plateRemove the Old Clutch Step by Step : 1 Remove the exterior parts, including the console and the shifter itself. Also remove the exhaust H-pipe. 2 Remove interior parts. This includes the starter, which is attached to the transmission bell-housing. Disconnect the clutch cable and the drive-shaft. 3 Remove the transmission. Undo the transmission cross-member and bolts, which will allow the transmission to come out of the Mustang. 4 Remove the bell-housing and pressure plate, and remove the worn clutch disk. 5 Inspect the clutch flywheel for damage, and replace if necessary. Install the New Clutch Step by Step : 1 Install a new clutch disk and pressure plate, using a clutch alignment tool, which can be found at any local auto parts store or Ford dealership. 2 Replace the bell-housing, and put the transmission back into your Mustang. Reconnect the cross-member and all related bolts. 3 Reconnect all interior parts, including the starter, clutch cable and drive-shaft. 4 Reconnect the exhaust H-Pipe, reinstall the shifter and replace the console. 5 Drive your Mustang slowly in a controlled environment to make sure the new clutch is installed properly.
GMC . How to Replace Clutch FluidCars with a manual transmission rely on a clutch system to shift gears. If the clutch fluid level is low, you may find it difficult to shift gears easily and notice that the clutch "slips." The clutch fluid reservoir can be topped off with standard brake fluid so that the clutch pedal can perform optimally. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid Small funnel Gloves Washcloth Step by Step : 1 Open the hood of your car and look for the clutch fluid reservoir; this is typically located next to the brake master cylinder. Check your car's owner's manual if you're not sure where this is located. 2 Put on the gloves and open the cap of the clutch fluid reservoir using the washcloth. Look for the MIN and MAX gradations on the inside of the reservoir tube to see how much clutch fluid is already in there. 3 Use the funnel to slowly pour the brake fluid directly into the clutch fluid reservoir. You may need to move the funnel out of the reservoir regularly to make sure you do not exceed the MAX fill line. 4 Replace the cap of the clutch fluid reservoir and tighten it completely with the washcloth. 5 Press the clutch a few times to circulate the brake fluid, then start the car. Leave the car running for 3-to-5 minutes so the fluid can get into the system. Tips & Warnings If the fluid is so low that there is now air in the system, you may need a mechanic to 'bleed' the fluid out and replace it with fresh fluid Never use brake fluid that's been open for more than a month Don't let any brake fluid touch the surface of the engine; make sure it is only poured directly into the reservoir ResourcesClutch Problems Explained Car Insurance mercury tracer 1995 ltsnotchback4dAcura, Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Daewoo, Daihatsu, Dodge, Eagle, Ford, Geo, GMC, Honda, HUMMER, Hyundai, Infiniti, Isuzu, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mercury, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Oldsmobile, Peugeot, Plymouth, Pontiac, Porsche, Ram, Saab, Saturn, Scion, Smart, Sterling, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, Yugo,Auto Insurance

The driveshaft runs to the rear wheels of conventional rear-wheel-driven vehicles and ends in another set of gears called the differential. The differential turns the power of the engine and the transmission 90 degrees into the axles that connect the drive wheels of the car. Because on most vehicles, the axle is set at right angles to the driveshaft, you can see that the differential is really changing the direction of the power so that the drive wheels can turn. Chapter 9 looks at drive trains and transmissions in detail, and Chapter 17 helps you deal with them. GMC . Getting a new key made for your car?
Volkswagen Passat. * Cars with front-wheel drive or with rear engines do not require drive- shafts because the power source is located right between the wheels that are going to drive the car. On these vehicles, the transmission and the differential are combined into a single unit called the transaxle, which connects directly to provide power to the drive wheels. 14. * step-by-step. The ignition system Once your car has started running, the ignition system (see Figure 4-8) con tinues to provide electric current to the spark plugs so that they can provide the spark that causes the fuel to burn. To do so, the current passes from the alternator to the coil, where it is amplified. From the coil, the current goes to the distributor, which directs it to the proper spark plug at the proper time. Chapter 5 examines the ignition system and the rest of the electrical system in greater detail, and Chapter 12 shows you how to keep its various parts working together in harmony. GMC .
